Instructions for installation:
1). Follow the steps within the Interlingua App. It will take you to your device settings. Ensure that you turn on "InterLingua App" under "Keyboard list and default".
2). Return to the Interlingua App to finish installation. You'll be given the option to select Interlingua App's keyboard via a pop up menu titled "Choose input method." Ensure to select the option with "Interlingua App" under it. For example, if your default keyboard is in English, it'll say English with Interlingua App underneath it. Select that option.
3). Choose your default input and output languages. Input is your known language, output is the language you would like words translated to.
4). Scroll to the very bottom and click on Finish Setup.
5). The subscription screen appears. You can click skip to use the Interlingua App's keyboard without a subscription; however, do note that English and Spanish are the only 2 languages offered without a subscription.
6). You're all set. Now you can go into any app of your choice and utilize the keyboard.
How it works:
Go into any mobile app, type a word you will like translated. The translation will appear at the top of the keyboard. Select the translation.
The Interlingua App keyboard is the one with the red background (as in the 1st screenshot in the above images).
Please keep in mind that the Interlingua App is meant to translate words, not full sentences.

Texting or writing someone in a foreign language and you've forgotten the translation for a specific word? InterLingua allows you to translate words within any mobile app that you are using to communicate. InterLingua uses a keyboard which you will set as your phone's default keyboard, that way you can translate the words of your choice while communicating in any app. You will be able to type using your selected language (referred to as input language). If you do not know a specific word in the foreign language (referred to as output language), simply write the word in your input language and the InterLingua keyboard will automatically give you the translated word; which you can then select if you choose.
InterLingua is perfect for those wanting to communicate in a second language. It is a great tool for learners on any level; whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Currently, InterLingua offers translation from English to the 10 Latin Script languages, and vice versa. The 10 Latin Script languages are French, Czech, Polish, Magyar (Hungarian), Romanian, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Esperanto, and Igbo.
