This app has been developed by the NIHR Surgical MedTech Co-operative. We are one of eleven Medtech and In vitro diagnostics Co-operatives (MICs) funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) to act as a centres of expertise that focus on clinical areas of high morbidity and unmet need for NHS patients.
The NIHR Surgical MedTech Co-operative supports the development of medical technologies in the fields of colorectal, vascular and hepatopancreaticobiliary (liver, gall bladder and pancreas) surgery to improve healthcare and quality of life for patients. We are hosted by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals, the second biggest healthcare provider in the UK, working closely with the University of Leeds, a leading UK University with strengths in biomedical research.
The purpose of this app is to facilitate medical technology collaborations by linking individuals and companies with appropriate individuals and/or organisations.
