The 71st CBEn and other events promoted by ABEn Nacional and held by ABEn Amazonas Section will take place in the city of Manaus - Amazonas, from November 11 to 14, 2019.
The state of Amazonas had the privilege of hosting two Brazilian Nursing Congresses, organized in 1971 and 1982, noting that the last Congress was held 37 years ago.
Thus, the 71st CBEn's scientific programming is guided by the central theme “Nursing and the meanings of equity”. This theme will also unfold for the development of the 12th Brazilian Journey of Geeerontological Nursing - JBEG and the 5th International Seminar on Nursing work - SITEn.
Three thematic axes were defined, namely: Axis 1 - Challenges for a practice with social justice and environmental sustainability; Axis 2 - Challenges for practicing social justice and heterogeneous social groups: classes, gender, generation, race / ethnicity and interculture, and Axis 3 - Challenges for the production of nursing care for vulnerable people, families and communities.
