Radio Television Mir was founded in August 1999 in Leposavic. In a short time, a modernly conceived radio and television program was launched, intended for the citizens of Kosovo, as well as other viewers and listeners in the region and the world.
The radio program started in 2000. Radio Mir broadcasts a signal through a 500-watt repeater located on the hill Desetak near Leposavic, from where it covers most of the territory in northern Kosovo. Radio Mir is musically recognizable for rock and roll and modern pop music of domestic and foreign bands.
