The territory identified within the project starts from the Valle del Voltigno. The area, included in the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, occupies an area of 5,172 hectares and includes the Voltigno and Valle D'Angri Regional Reserve; a protected natural area of Abruzzo, established in 1989. The "Voltigno" destination extends territorially towards the Gran Sasso d'Italia area, concentrating in the Province of Pescara on the municipalities of Brittoli, Montebello di Bertona, Villa Celiera, Carpineto della Nora, Farindola and Civitella Casanova, with the addition of Penne and Loreto Aprutino which have characteristics in common and are similar. In the Province of L'Aquila it extends over the municipalities of Ofena and Villa Santa Lucia but they are outside the territory of the LAG Terre Pescaresi.
