The International Economic Senate Young e.V. (IWS Young), like its sister association International Economic Senate e.V. (IWS), is a member of the World Economic Council (WEC). This enables access to the national and international network. These include young senators from IWS Young, senators from IWS, managing directors of medium-sized companies, traditional companies and corporations; national and international cooperation partners as well as the other senates under the umbrella of the World Economic Council (WEC).
The IWS Young offers its young senators a variety of opportunities to develop and expand their personal, social and methodological skills in order to prepare for a possible later role as a senator in the IWS. This is done through internal learning and exchange formats, supported by cooperation with universities, private educational institutions, companies, the use of appropriate platforms and the mutually beneficial exchange with experienced senators of the IWS.
Participation in the Senate activities and the exchange of ideas and experiences with other IWS members result in synergies and insights that enrich the personal and professional life of the IWS members. The cooperation between the members - also internationally - is coordinated by the executive boards of the individual senates.
OUR CONCEPT
The IWS Young sees itself as a community of values based on humanistic positions and democratic principles. Like the IWS and other WEC senates, the IWS Young stands for the idea of an “honorable businessman”. The IWS Young offers its young senators a value-oriented network to transform their own ideas and concerns. Fairness and partnership in business life and in society, taking up and dealing with emerging trends form the basis of a young senator as well as the orientation towards sustainability and market-based principles.
