About Kolping Azubiwohnen
The Kolping trainee and youth housing offers young people nationwide affordable accommodation and social-educational support in the tradition of the social reformer Adolph Kolping (1813-1865).
Similar to the journeyman's houses founded by Kolping in the mid-19th century, our residents receive guidance and support in their new living environment with questions about training/vocational school or in dealing with everyday problems. The Kolping trainee and youth accommodation is the interface between the parents' home, the training companies, the vocational schools and the trainees. This prevents premature termination of training and promotes successful training.
All houses are open to teenagers and young adults between the ages of 16 and 26, regardless of nationality, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
