Article 11 of the workers 'statute (law n. 300 dated May 20, 1970) provides that companies can be promoted cultural, recreational and welfare activities, managed by bodies formed by a majority of workers' representatives; organizations that are called Corporate Circles or CRALs or Workers' Assistance Recreational Clubs.
According to the article described above about 25 years ago the CRAL was born the Renaissance within the D. Cotugno Hospital in Naples, the largest infectious disease center in Southern Italy.
The non-profit-making circle obviously has the fundamental task of promoting and managing as an expression of participation, solidarity and pluralism, amateur sports, welfare initiatives, social promotion, cultural, educational, motor-sports and tourist activities.
