Allah Almighty said:
"It is not invented by the Koran and Allah hath revealed as proof of [bestowed] before him, and an explanation of the Scriptures, there is no doubt at all, [the revealed] the Lord of the worlds." (Yunus, 37)
The Prophet (may Allah bless him and peace be upon him) said:
"Read the Qur'an, for verily, the Day of Resurrection he will be a refuge for those who read it." (Muslim)
"The best of you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it (others)."
(Al-Bukhari)
