When completing the Qur’an, it is desirable to pray to God with some special supplications to complete the Qur’an, such as the supplication of Zain Al-Abidin, peace be upon him, or the supplication that begins with God.
The Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, used to say when completing the Qur’an:
“O God, explain the Qur’an in my chest, and use the Qur’an in my body, enlighten the Qur’an with my eyesight, and call the Qur’an my tongue, and help me with what you have kept me.
