The BAETULO Climate Alert mobile application was born from the European LIFE BAETULO project, which aims to implement an early warning and risk management system in Badalona as a measure to adapt to climate change.
The BAETULO Climate Alert app reproduces the forecasts or occurrence alerts of climatic events identified by the alert system platform and transfers them to the public. The types of climatic events considered are: rain floods, sewage discharges, heat waves, forest fires, sea storms, winds, cold waves, air pollution episodes or snowfall. The user of the app will receive notifications when an alert is activated for the prediction or occurrence of these phenomena, a description of the cause of this activation and a set of recommendations on self-protection actions that the user of the app you can undertake to minimize impacts on your health or on the property you own.
L’app està disponible en català i castellà i disposa de: una descripció del projecte LIFE BAETULO i de la app alerta climàtica, un apartat de configuració de les notificacions i una secció d’ajuda.
