Prices Wholesale Fish is the app of prices and market data collected at the main fish markets for national distribution and arises from the collaboration between the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and Unioncamere - with the support of BMTI S.c.p.A. which also made use of the experience of Italmercati Rete d'Imprese - for the creation of innovative systems for the management of marketing information in the seafood sector, as part of the 2014-2020 EMFF National Operational Program.
Innovative tool designed for operators in the fishing sector, Prices Wholesale Fish, for the first time, allows you to simultaneously check the information of the fish markets at the distribution of Catania, Chioggia, Florence, Milan, Naples, Rimini, Rome, Salerno, Turin and Venice (work is underway for the entry of other markets).
The objective is to allow operators in the fishing sector to have free access to unpublished IT tools, which allow them to easily and immediately access the prices and data of the fish markets for distribution and to be able to share and compare them in real time, ensuring greater transparency in the markets.
Once registered, the user will be able to observe the data collected and know the wholesale prices of the various markets as soon as they have been officially published.
Five main categories have been defined among which it will be easy to find your way around:
Fresh caught
Frozen catch
Fresh bred
Bred frozen
Transformed
Based on the characteristics of the chosen category, it is possible to select the fish species of interest and learn about:
