During the game, you will encounter separate domino lines with free space between them. The goal is to connect one domino line with another. It's done by drawing a line between the dominos using your finger. By doing so, you're placing new domino pieces between existing dominos, so when the chain reaction comes, all the dominos will topple down, creating an oddly satisfying domino effect. If done right, you will see domino smash into each other, making every standing domino drop and fall off the cliff. And that is your main goal in Domino Cliff, to make dominoes topple.
The challenging part is that you should also avoid obstacles and use various objects and mechanisms to topple dominoes of all colors. Each time you see a gate, a cannon, or a catapult, activate it as fast as possible, or else toppling dominoes will smash into obstacles and the chain reaction will stop. Also, there will be red marks in the free space between one separate domino line and another, blocking you from placing dominos on top of them. If you touch these red marks when drawing a line, dominos will not spawn and you will have to draw the line one more time.
But there's good news: each time you fire a cannon or open a gate, you're rewarded with coins. You can also collect coins just by placing dominos close to them. Most of the coins in the game hover above the cliff between one disconnected domino line and another. To collect them, draw a domino line over them. Once the dominos are on the cliff and touch the coins, the reward is yours to spend. Another way to get more coins in Domino Cliff is by completing game challenges. Usually, they're not that hard and may include tasks like toppling dominoes or smashing gates. Once you have completed a challenge, smash the COLLECT button to get the coins. Use coins to unlock new color themes, paint dominoes and the cliff with different hand-picked colors, or give dominos a unique look with newly unlocked domino tile shapes.
