About Предписания Доктора Мэриголда

Charles Dickens, who published A Christmas Carol about the grim old curmudgeon Ebineiser Scrooge in 1843, is widely credited as the founder of the genre of Christmas storytelling in world literature. The traditional Christmas (or Yuletide) story has a bright and joyful ending, and good always triumphs. So Scrooge, who only loves his money, changes his views after meeting with spirits. In subsequent years, Dickens continued to write such stories, often with co-authorship, publishing them at the end of the year in his own journals.
Ardis Audio Studio brings to your attention a collection of Christmas stories "The Prescriptions of Dr. Marigold" (1865), which contains stories from both Dickens himself and five of his contemporaries.
