Philosophers have argued that morality and the need for the supernatural and unknowable rooted in the worst and most dangerous feeling: self-abasement, malevolence, cruelty, vindictiveness.
Nietzsche believes that the way in which so far the European mankind passed, fraught with terrible consequences, he prophetically foreshadows his contemporaries.
