About Волны. В. Вульф

In terms of its artistic construction, Waves is the most unusual novel in the work of the English writer Virginia Woolf. First published in 1931, it consists of monologues by six of the book's characters: Bernard, Susan, Rhoda, Neville, Ginny, and Louis. Six people who love and hate each other, who sometimes think that they are all one person. Everyone is in search of their place in the world, in search of their own happiness. The monologues are interspersed with nine short third-person interludes depicting a coastal scene at different stages of the day, from dawn to dusk.
