Walk to Travel is a multifunctional tool for planning and conducting walks and independent travels, which will make them the most productive and as interesting as possible.
Cacheable maps (based on OpenStreetMap.org data)
- The sections of the map you viewed are saved on the device and you get access to them offline.
Base of objects of different categories
- Download packages with objects in the regions of different countries in order to be able to have access to them offline.
- The categories of objects are mainly of a tourist nature: architecture, sculptures, viewing platforms, street art, etc.
Information on objects
- You can read a brief information note on each object.
- The main purpose of the image is to interest you to visit this object yourself and take your own photos. Live in Reality, not online.
- At some sites an audio guide is available, the authors of which try to select the most interesting information.
Photofixation (checkin) and quick shots
- By taking photos in the immediate vicinity of the object of interest to you, you get a real impression of what you saw and mark it completed.
- Take quick pictures in the places you are interested in. You can also share your new object if no one has added it yet. Objects are added to the server after manual moderation.
Statistics
- Find out the percentage of your passage of objects from their total number on the server in the country and region for each category.
Progress:
- Get magnets for completing certain places.
Travel map
- Build your own travel map from quick shots and check-ins.
- Directories will help you structure your shots in a convenient way.
Favorite
- Add objects you like or just coordinates (long tap on the map) to your favorites so you can access them at any time.
- Organize your favorites by breaking them into directories.
A warning!
- We DO NOT collect and DO NOT store your pictures and information about your movements! All photographs taken are on your device, and only you are responsible for their safety (with the exception of objects that you yourself share using the publication dialog box for each object).
- When you go to research objects, you yourself are responsible for your own safety and take all necessary precautions.
For example, in a city there may be disadvantaged areas in which one is better not to go. In nature, it’s not necessary, forgetting about your own safety, to climb rocks or caves alone, without the necessary preparation and equipment, to penetrate objects whose entrance is closed for any reason.
