Learning about criminal procedure law can be very frustrating if the student is not interested and motivated. Therefore, it is very important that the teacher approaches the teaching of a language from an active, participatory, cooperative and motivating methodology that involves the student and that provides him with continuous feedback that allows him to check his progress and encourages him to continue striving and learning. This can be accomplished through gamification. Educational video games are a way to support learning processes. They open up a range of possibilities to explore different topics, in addition to being a somewhat novel reading tool for our environment. The purpose of gamification lies in creating positive experiences that encourage a process to integrate the mechanics of the game into Law, to motivate student participation and learning.
