The athenaCapture mobile app and its supporting athenaNet workflows provide a simple, secure way for users to add image documentation into athenaNet via smartphone or tablet device. Supported workflows currently include:
- Simple image documentation capture
- Encounter embedded image documentation capture
- Patient photo capture
Images pass directly from the point of capture — athenaCapture — to athenaNet, and are never stored unsecured, e.g., in a device camera roll, a memory card inserted into a camera, etc., without manual intermediate steps.

can't get it off the camera. will not let me access my patient portal. liked the athenalhealth portal better. this one is not helpful

This is absolutely horrible since the update. When we scan in the patient's Driver's license, it blows it up. The pictures are all blurry now.
