Objectives

1. To develop a user-friendly application to help surgeons identify the Critical View of Safety by the use of a poll which will be answered by his co-surgeons and the Artificial Intelligence (AI). Zero Bile Duct Injury App aims to prevent any bile duct injuries.

2. It has the function that you can ask for help and respond to help calls if the surgeon is having difficulty in finding the Critical View of Safety (CVS). Therefore, this will encourage surgeons to help each other for assistance in an ongoing operation.

3.This application aims to reduce the possible cases of Bile Duct Injuries (BDI) which is often a complication in Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy.

4.This application aims to expedite the response to surgeons who need help.

5.To encourage the surgeons to help or being able to receive help calls if they have extra/available time.

Features
• Image recognition system that would detect the structures/landmarks of the critical view of safety (CVS).

• Real-time capturing of photos/videos of the gallbladder (GB)

• Real-time notification and networking with experts who would analyze the photos/videos taken and do a consensus whether CVS is achieved or not.

• 24-hour call for help service notification in cases of DANGER scenario (locating nearby surgeons).

• Provision of learning experience via resources:
videos, journals, and lectures.
