The Calf Passport is an initiative of the veal sector of the Quebec Cattle Producers. This application allows dairy producers to record a number of data on calf's identity, age, and biosecurity elements such as colostrum intake, vaccination, and herd health status. Each passport is linked to the Agri-Traçabilité Québec (ATQ) ID number and will follow the animal throughout its life. The information can be consulted by the various stakeholders involved in the breeding of the animal. It is a simple and fast tool that also allows the creation of a loop installation at ATQ.
