Welcome to this new project full of enthusiasm in which we will delve step by step into the world of Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Emotional Management and Strengths and Personal Resources, both for adults and children.
The purpose is to create a space in which we can develop our abilities on a daily basis, to increase our attention, concentration and understanding of both our internal world and our environment, know how to manage stress, learn to meditate formally and informally, begin to manage correctly our emotions and many other projects that will appear.
All this within a scientific framework, based on data obtained from empirical studies and endorsed by the field of Psychology, specifically in the field of Positive Psychology, a branch created from the magnificent works of Martin Seligman, who was He is known as the father of Positive Psychology. We will also address works, phrases and studies by well-known authors within Mindfulness, such as John Kabat-Zin (emeritus professor of Medicine and creator of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction technique), Matthieu Ricard (biologist and Buddhist monk, named the “The Happiest Man in the World”) or the neuroscientist Richard J. Davidson.
We hope that you like our project and that you follow it with enthusiasm, especially we hope that it will be of great help to you in your daily life.
Sincerely, Attentmind.
