John Kondilakis (1861-25 July 1920) was a Greek writer, novelist, journalist and columnist.
Born Viannos Crete in 1861 had a brother, Charalambos Kondilaki teacher profession. The Cretan Revolution of 1866 led his family to settle in Piraeus in Athens for three years and to continue his high school studies. Then he returned to Crete. The elementary school over the village, while his teenage years were spent in Chania. In 1877 Kondylakis left the high school classroom to take part in the revolutionary movements that were on the island. In the period 1879-1881 he worked in Chania and Sitia as a court clerk ...
