The Electronic Proof of delivery (e-POD) solution is an upgrade to the existing GPS based tracking solution being used in the logistics and transportation world. This solution utilizes the touchscreen based smartphone technology for normal GPS tracking as well as uses an interactive approach to capture inputs from the end user (Transporters/Drivers) related to deliveries, which can be in the form of date & timestamp based events associated along with provision to capture images of invoice / delivery challan, site, photo id of the recipient etc.
Electronic Proof of delivery (e-POD) is a method to establish the fact that the Consignee/Customer received the shipment sent by the Consignor.

In case of delivery of multiple orders, electronic Proof of Delivery addresses the receipt confirmation of the same.

The Delivery is confirmed on basis of the Consignor and Consignee location and e-POD submission by the driver for every order in the shipment assigned.
