A direct-acting pressure regulator is a stand-alone device designed to maintain a constant pressure in the pipeline. Regulation is ensured by automatic change in the degree of opening of the throttling element of the regulator, as a result of which the hydraulic resistance to the passing flow of the medium automatically changes. Pressure regulators are divided into regulators "before themselves", "after themselves" and regulators that maintain a given pressure drop. The work of the regulator is carried out at the expense of the energy of the working environment. The regulator is adjusted to a given pressure by turning the pilot's adjusting screw. The control pressure from the pilot enters the cavity of the piston chamber of the actuator. Differential pressure on
the piston of the actuator creates the maximum force. Any change in the monitored parameter (inlet, outlet pressure or differential pressure) causes the moving system to move to a new equilibrium state. At zero flow rate of the working medium, the valves of the pilot and the actuator are hermetically closed.
Instructions for use.
In the lower left corner, go to the "Calculation" section.
Regulator type - choose which medium the regulator will rely on - gas or liquid.
Units of measurement - select the units of measurement that are indicated in the questionnaire for ease of calculation.
Indicators - then there are fields for filling, all fields are required, except for the DN of the pipeline. In some fields, you need to select a value from the list. We press the button “pick up” at the very bottom.
