In my way through the CES17 I found many Anglo-Saxon terms within the agenda of different subjects that comprised the Superior Course Basketball Coach offered by the Spanish Basketball Federation, as well as specialized articles, websites, videos, ... consulted perform group work that normally we found completely written in English.
Especially in Block Tactics and Management, students had to face both the difficulty of the concepts and the ignorance of the English terms used by teachers to refer to them.
There were many tactical concepts that were seen during the course in Zaragoza. Concepts that I have tried to organize this work with the idea that the basketball coach interested learn to recognize different basic tactical situations within the elite teams practiced by systems as well as their usual international terminology.
In addition, I took the celebration last summer's EuroBasket 2017 for several video examples of each of the concepts in the work. Unfortunately, we will not see all tactical concepts seen during CES, but the most common among systems made by different national teams who participated in the EuroBasket 2017. Competition that won the National Team of Slovenia, where our partner Jaka Lakovic was part the coaching staff European champions.
This paper is rather aimed at anyone who can feel the interest or need to improve their training as a coach, with the discovery of tactical concepts commonly used by teams at the highest international level and terminology in English. If I get will be fantastic, if not, at least I shall have my personal growth as a coach to realize the project.
