An App to guarantee the Citizen a rapid and effective communication system on current situations and a guide on the behaviors to be kept, to be downloaded for free.
"Communicating to protect" was created to inform citizens about dangerous situations due to both natural and anthropic phenomena; It is a specific duty of the municipality to have appropriate systems both to communicate the current situation and to spread the behavior to be followed in these cases.
Funded with ESF funds ABRUZZO 2014-2020 (Operational Plan 2017-2019, intervention n.37), the App allows Citizens and Tourists to view the current states of alert and provides information on areas at risk and safe areas to reach in the event of a natural disaster, as well as on the behavior to be followed for each type of risk.
The municipal administrations participating in the initiative can send reports or notices of both civil protection and public utility and make available the main contents of the civil protection plans.
The municipalities of Sulmona (Lead Authority), Anversa degli Abruzzi, Bugnara, Campo di Giove, Cansano, Cocullo, Introdacqua, Pacentro, Pettorano sul Gizio, Prezza, Roccacasale, Scanno, Villalago and the Sirentina Mountain Community join the initiative.
