The brand new Glossama app has as its main objective that of operating in the field of Greek-Salento culture by promoting and sharing every initiative aimed at the conservation and regeneration of Griko, the identity language of the whole Grecìa Salentina.
The idea of Glossama starts in September 2020 when the company BetaStudio Software receives from Giovanni Mele (called Sìdero) several manuscripts concerning a vocabulary in the Grika Coriglianese language. Subsequently, the idea of building a database from scratch was born, able to contain all the words elaborated by Giovanni and not only. In February 2021, the implementation of the Glossama app began, which is characterized by the inclusion of the declension of verbs and the reading of words and sentences with a virtual assistant. Today, the first version is presented to the public containing thousands of additional words structured in this ideal platform that allows aggregations and tables for the best use and study of the Grika language.
With the brand new Glossama app you will be able to browse through thousands of words and conjugated verbs both in Italian-> Griko and vice versa.
