The project aims to develop a tablet platform for cognitive games for older people to use in a group. It will encourage the use of multiple cognitive strategies with increasing difficulty as performance improves.
The tablet gaming platform will be designed to deliver cognitive stimulation in the form of a training program that aims to enhance overall cognitive and social function.
The developed games and training program will allow older people to enjoy group activities using a tablet designed to improve memory, hold attention, reasoning and planning, processing speed and consistent comprehension skills.
