To qualify for a policy loan:
• Must be 18 years and above.
• Have an android enabled phone with Bima app downloaded.
• Must be Kenyan national or an alien residing in Kenya lawfully.
• Must have insurable interest in the subject being insured.
Grant of loans:
Loans will be granted and repaid in Kenya shillings only. Your loan limit is calculated using the approved policy amount by insurance, loan history, number of instalments and your ability to repay based on your mobile data analysis.
Policy Payments:
Upon approval of your loan, the amount will be sent directly to the insurance company. You will be informed of the same and advised to collect your insurance certificate.
Repaying your loan:
You must repay the loan by the dates specified. (Due date). If you fail to repay the loan by the due date, you insurance policy will be cancelled. You will bear the cancellation charges. You are required by law to return the insurance certificate to Myway Kopa no later than 7 days from cancellation. Failure to do so may lead to legal proceedings being instituted against you. Myway Kopa and the insurance company will not be held liable to claims from cancelled policies.
