BioSmart ID is made to identify a user in ACS and Time & Attendance systems and replaces plastic cards.
With the app, the user generates a virtual card and transfers its unique identifier to the ACS administrator to be then registered in the system.
To go through a checkpoint, the user puts their smartphone onto a multi-format reader (device screen must be unlocked). Data transmission is encrypted via NFC. If the identification is successful, the ACS sends a command to an executive device (electronic lock, turnstile) and the user may go through freely.
BioSmart ID is a modern and convenient alternative to outdated RFID cards:
- plastic cards get lost, forgotten, passed on to third parties - with a smartphone such a case is almost impossible;
- identification by a smartphone is much quicker than by biometrics;
- the app runs in the background, it can be minimized or closed; battery consumption is no more than any other background app;
- simple and intuitive design - no need to figure out any buttons or settings, in a few clicks the app is up & ready to work;
- the app works with BioSmart card readers, which can be easily integrated into any access control system via Wiegand and RS-485 interfaces.
