Olafika is a structured mentorship
programme designed to equip
entrepreneurs with the critical knowledge
and skills needed for business success. The
programme is designed to train and mentor
five SMEs per region, 70 in total, over a six month
period.
In partnership with the Namibia Diamond Trading Company, Konrad- Adenauer- Stiftung, African Leadership Institute, Ministry of Rural & Urban Development and Ministry of Industrialization, Trade & SME Development, the Mentorship Programme teaches, trains and mentors 150 Namibian entrepreneurs over a 6- month period. After a successful 2019 where 77 SMEs were mentored and received Level 4 entrepreneurship training, the programme had 2020 doubled the number of beneficiaries through virtual classes.
The Class of 2021 is back to face to face classes focused on urgent issues that businesses are facing, particularly as a result of Covid-19. Olafika is seeking entrepreneurs who are hungry to make a difference to their businesses and their communities in this unprecedented times of Covid-19.
