About TempTraq
TempTraq® is a wearable, Bluetooth temperature monitor in the form of a soft, comfortable, single use patch. The patch senses, records and transmits body temperature for 24 or 48 hours via Bluetooth® 4.0 (LE) and is compatible with any Android device with Bluetooth 4.0 (LE) capability, running Android OS 4.3 or later.
Now with TempTraq Connect! Remotely monitor TempTraq patches from virtually anywhere in conjunction with a local Bluetooth enabled iOS or Android device and data connection.
The app requires the TempTraq patch to function. TempTraq is a Class II medical device and is only available for sale in the US. The TempTraq app is only available for download in the US.
TempTraq allows a child to rest when they are ill with an elevated temperature. There is no need to disturb the child to take a temperature measurement so the child can rest and the parents can be confident knowing their child's temperature.
TempTraq Patch
The TempTraq patch is designed to be worn with the sensor in the armpit area measuring axillary temperature. TempTraq measures under-the-arm "axillary" temperature and this is converted to an oral temperature which is displayed in the TempTraq app.
TempTraq App
The TempTraq app provides an intuitive and easy to use interface to view the temperature data transmitted from the patch.
Displays both current and historical temperature data transmitted from the patch
Monitors multiple patches assigned to multiple children
Enables sharing of patch data with other TempTraq Connect users
Uses color to indicate temperature levels
o Green – less than 100.4° F
o Orange – equal to or greater than 100.4° F
o Red – temperature equal to or greater than a user defined alert temperature
Generates an alert on the smart device when the temperature is equal to or greater than a user defined alert temperature
Provides temperature history over the 24 or 48 hour use period of the patch in both graphical and data table views
Enables the user to enter notes for medication, baths, feeding and other events
Displays temperatures in either C or F
Enables temperature data to be exported via e-mail as a .csv file
