TREASURE is a South Korean male vocal group formed by YG Entertainment through the survival program "YG Treasure Box" consisting of 12 members. Choi Hyun-suk and Park Jihoon as the eldest members jointly share the role of leader of the group which officially debuted on August 7, 2020 with the title single "Boy" from the single album The First Step: Chapter One.[1]
Prior to their debut, the group had become a South Korean artist to enter Billboard's Social 50, and received many awards as a rookie artist including Rookie Artist of the Year at the 35th Golden Disc Award and Best New Male Artist at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards. After 5 months of debut, they collectively achieved one million sales from The First Step album series and were dubbed the 'Million Seller'.
