The Bank of Korea denomination helper app was jointly developed by the Bank of Korea and the National Forensic Service for the purpose of enhancing the convenience of cash transactions for the visually impaired by assisting in denomination of banknotes.

- When you bring the camera to the banknote, the face value is informed through voice and vibration
- Support for denomination of 29 types of banknotes currently in use, including current notes

* User guide and disclaimer
1. When the camera is held parallel to the banknote, the face value is guided by voice and vibration, and the face value is also displayed on the screen.
2. When the vibration is set, the 1,000 won bill vibrates once, the 5,000 won bill vibrates 2 times, the 10,000 won bill vibrates 3 times, and the 50,000 won bill vibrates 4 times.
3. In the basic mode, identification of current and immediately preceding notes is supported (7 types), and 22 types of current banknotes are additionally supported when old notes are recognized. However, the recognition speed and accuracy may be slightly reduced when setting the old ticket recognition.
4. This app is not designed to identify counterfeit bills, and counterfeit bills cannot be identified. Also, there is a possibility of misrecognition due to technical limitations, so please use it only as an auxiliary means for identifying the face value.
5. Use of this app is at the user's risk. The Bank of Korea and the National Forensic Research Institute are not responsible for the identification results of this app and have no obligation to compensate for any damages.
