Birchwood Recreation & Shooting Park is a not for profit 501(c)7 run by a membership-elected board of directors and paid management staff. The park is located 2.5 miles from the Glenn Highway on the North Birchwood exit, adjacent to the Birchwood Airport.
Established in 1964 on 72 acres, the park is Alaska’s largest private shooting facility. Currently, the club includes eight rifle and pistol ranges. Our shortest range will allow shooting as close as 7 yards. The longest range will allow you to shoot out to 300 meters. Currently two ranges have heat and lighting for night shooting. The shotgun range has 5 trap, 4 skeet, 3 Five-Stand, a 100-target sporting clay walk -through course, and a bunker trap. Twelve of these fields are lighted for night shooting. All ranges are available for EPM members from 7am to 10pm, and limited 2-day members during posted business hours. Range rentals are also available.
The park also offeres RV camping with water and electrical hookups for up to 24 campers.
