Medulla Spinalis Injuries are impaired integrity of the medulla spinalis due to traumatic and non-traumatic causes. In the nerve fibers in the medulla spinalis, an incision occurs. In this case, the transmission of sensory information from the environment to the upper centers and the transmission of information about the regulation of movement in the upper centers to the muscles may be partially or fully affected. If physiotherapy is applied regularly from the acute period, losses in that injury level can be minimized, and functionality and independence can be advanced to the highest level that the incision level allows. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation practices contribute to prevent many complications that can occur both in acute and future stages.
With this application developed for educational purposes, it is aimed to teach spinal cord injuries better.
