Ghotonna, the word hails from the traditional way of offering food to our loved ones. In the old days when farmers in the villages would stay out of their homes ploughing the fields the whole day, their family would bring them cooked food in containers wrapped by a piece of cloth. This very food package is traditionally known as Ghotonna in Odia.
