Peace of mind for solo adventurers! I've been using this for a good while now. I made a cardboard reminder that I leave out, to make sure I "End trip" on my return. In the early days I forgot several times; "crying wolf" to your contacts isn't recommended... If you're not sure you'll have internet at your day's destination, there's a risk of a false alarm, so bear that in mind when setting your Due Back By time/date. Once you've set it you can go to Flight Mode to conserve battery, if desired.
