Many elderly people experience technological developments as very complicated. Using a mobile phone is still possible, but a smartphone or Android is getting a lot harder for most people. Older people prefer to keep in touch with children, grandchildren, neighbors and acquaintances every day. But the threshold to use a smartphone, notebook or tablet was experienced as 'too complicated'. That is why the CarePad was developed!
