Lake Filter Remote Control - Project 22

The control works through local UDP communication between a Smartphone and a micro controller, in this case a Raspberry pi Zero W.

Raspberry runs a python program that sends signals to a relay board and also receives signals from a ds18b20 digital temperature sensor.

Through UDP communication, this python program receives on / off instructions or to send temperature to the Android program.

Filter Operation:
     The project consists of a water pump, pipes, plastic cask (with crushed stone, and may also contain sand, activated carbon), stove igniting plant (with parallel metal ends to generate arcing), LED UV lamp, pump of air used in inflatable mattress.
     The water pump has the role of sucking the water from the lake and forcing it through the plastic cask, whose main function is to retain solid waste.
     The igniting stove has been adapted to serve as an ozone generating source, which is vented into the vat where it is mixed with water.
    At the exit of the barrel, water passes through a pipe with UV LED's that act as an eliminator of germs, bacteria and fungi.
    The project also has remote control via Android, this control is done through a Raspberry Pi Zero W board that controls a set of relays to turn the project components on and off and also measures the water temperature through a ds18b20 sensor.

Ozone-treated water, which is a powerful oxidizer, tends to become clear and free of germs, bacteria, fungi and algae. In addition, ozone tends to clarify water, replacing chlorine, which would negatively affect plants, fish, ducks and other animals.
