The project CULTCAP - Preservation of natural and cultural values in the area of Szeged and Magyarkanizsa is a continuation of the previously implemented CULTSTREAM and CULTRAIL projects. As before, the new project, in addition to presenting the region's natural resources, places great emphasis on the most up-to-date and versatile display of cultural heritage, and on the transmission of these values for educational and tourism purposes. This time, the programs focus on contemporary art endeavors that combine performative and visual representations. The complex medium of the film itself and the creative use of new digital tools and technologies will play a prominent role. The aim of the project is to maintain and carry forward the results of previous projects, as well as to create new cultural and multimedia events and create multimedia products. The programs build on the common historical, cultural and economic traditions of the region.
