For the first time in our country, Gülhane Gastroenterology Clinic completed its establishment in 1956 as an independent specialization branch, according to the principles of the Medicine Specialization Regulation published on 20.11.1956. The founders of the clinic, Prof. Dr. Tevfik User and Assoc. Dr. Namık Kemal Mentes.
