Salat is the pillar of religion. He who does not pray has no religion. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, "Stand up and pray, if you cannot, then sit down. If you cannot do that, then stand by." Therefore, anyone who prays while sitting needs to know the rules and regulations in this regard. And so this article has been written so that the worshiper is on the right knowledge when he prays sitting on the ground or praying in a chair.
