Halalfoodhunt

Halalfoodhunt is an app that verifies halal food options (eateries, online businesses, caterers and more) before publishing them. If a listing hasn’t been verified through submission of valid documents, the status will be published just as that: unverified. This app updates on the halal statuses of F&B businesses - whether they have valid halal certificates, are muslim-owned or anywhere in between.

Muslim-owned businesses, just like any other business, also get bought and sold. Sometimes, making them no longer muslim-owned. This status is also updated in the halalfoodhunt app when they are no longer muslim owned.

Bogus halal eateries might pop up in this app through user contributions, but they will be labelled ‘unverified’, so treat them with extra precaution. Merchants interested in verifying their halal status in the halalfoodhunt app may contact the halal-verifiers team at hello@halalfoodhunt.com
