Aloha!

Do you speak or know the Native Hawaiian language, ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi?
If you do, then this is a good test guessing game to see if you know how to spell it correctly!
This is the first of the series in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, which features the basic numbers (1-10) and colors, both basic and complex.
It has words that is taught and features old fashioned words too.
Get ready to test your language and logic!

*NOTE: This game uses the Hawaiian language keyboard on your smartphone!

The title that is on the guessing game is Hoʻopilipili ʻŌlelo, which means "wordplay".

Directions:
Make sure that you have the Hawaiian keyboard on your smartphone. If you do not have it, it should be easy to access through your keyboard language settings.
When you have the Hawaiian language keyboard on your smartphone, you are ready to play!

When you first open the game app, you will see a word that is kapakahi, or mixed up. All you have to do is guess what that word is.
The capital letter is usually the first letter, but thereʻs also some tricky words that has an ʻokina (apostrophe) that also starts first for the correct pronunciation spelling.

1. Tap your finger on the line that is above the button that says "Kahi", which means "press".

2. Your smartphoneʻs keyboard should pop up. Go ahead and start typing what you think the word is.
*Hint: Remember, this one is only basic numbers and easy to complex colors.

3. Press your enter key on your keyboard.
If you spelled the word correctly, it will say "Pololei!" (correct!).
If you spelled the word wrong, it will say "Aʻole" (no).

4. You can also press "Kahi" to see if you spelt the word correctly.

5. Press your return button on your keyboard to retract the keyboard. You will then see a bottom button that says "Aʻe" (next).

6. Press the bottom button that says "Aʻe" to go the next game.

Just remember that you are playing for fun and it tests your logic on knowing the words in the Native Hawaiian language.
There is no scores on it, as this is an educational Native Hawaiian language game that tests your knowledge.
