The practice of diurnal prayer originally came from the monasteries. At different times of the day, monks and nuns stop what they are thinking and doing to pray.
Here you will find daytime prayers (and our morning prayers podcast) that would like to accompany you in your everyday life. Because around us and inside us it is usually loud and crowded. In order to live and believe well in the midst of all the noise and crowding, we need wholesome breaks.
The home page's daytime prayers consist of six morning, noon, and evening prayers (for Monday through Saturday) and one Sunday prayer, and are repeated week after week. The "new" is always your day and sensing God's perspective on it.
The (morning prayer) episodes of the podcast, of which several thematically very different seasons have already been created, provide more variety and input. Just browse and select a season that interests you or follow the current season.
We hope that Liturgies of Life will help you to heal your thoughts and actions, to find inner peace and to connect with God. Blessed be!
