I never grew up with Kono but I'm glad it's still around. It's my favorite station to listen to at work. Thumbs up man EDIT: they changed it to a news broadcast. It's terrible now

Before August 28th 2024, 86 KONO was a unique oldies station that played amazing assortment of classics from the 60s and 70s. Their jingles were iconic, their seasonal inclusions for songs and jingles were inclusive to the listener and the time of the year. Unfortunately, as of the date mentioned above, it has now become a 24/7 news talkstation, with no distinguishable or unique identity to itself. It has now become just another station youll scroll past on the dial.
