Toyota Avensis C1203 fix

Toyota avensis T27 has an electronic park brake. Second hand (used) units are configured to the previous car and will display a warning on the dash if configuration will not match.

The fault code is C1203 - Vehicle Information Mismatch.
This app version works with LHD cars only.The "donor" vehicle should also be LHD.
Please open the top cover and find ST95160 eeprom memory.
Remove it from the board and read with your external programmer. Upload it to the app and select the correct gearbox type. After calibration write the new file back and solder the memory chip back.
Manual gearbox can be set in 2 ways, please try both versions in case the fault code is not fixed with version 1.
After C1203 is gone, you will need to perform calibration of park brake sensors using diagnostic tool. This is a regular/easy procedure after any brake-related job is done.
