Marriage in the Arabic language means pairing and pairing, so a husband is said with something, and his wife to him: he pairs it with it.

Technically, marriage usually means the relationship in which a man (called the husband) and a woman (called the wife) come together to build a family, and marriage is a familiar relationship that has legal, societal, religious and cultural foundations, and in many human cultures marriage is seen as the most acceptable framework for commitment to a sexual relationship and procreation. Or adopt children with the intention of starting a family.

Often a person is associated with only one spouse at a time, but in some societies there are cases of polygamy or polyandry.

In many cases, marriage takes place in the form of an oral and written contract by a religious, civil or community authority. Usually, the bond between spouses continues throughout life, and sometimes, for various reasons, this bond is broken by divorce by mutual consent of the two parties or by a decision from another party, such as the judiciary or courts, with divorce or termination of the contract.
